My Teacher, My Hero

My 2nd Mom And Dad!

Ma'am! Sir! They are our Teachers. But who are our teachers? What are the tasks/responsibilities of our teachers? we all know that are first teachers are our parents but let's be practical, the things that they are teaching us are not enough so we need to go to school where we can socialize with the professional teachers, the one who teaches us the things that our parents cant teach us.

Our teachers are not just a simple teacher. They do not only teach us about their subject class like Math, Physics, Values, Chemistry, Filipino, ICT, AP and others. But they also teach us about good manners and right conduct. If we have problems they are always there to listen to us, guide us and advice us what to do. If you need a friend they can be your friend. If you need a mother, father, brother or sister, they can be one, because they care for us. They don't wan't to see us very problematic. They wan't us to be happy always because they are our second parents and they love us.

Our teachers are like our saviours, they are one of our keys to become successful in life. Without them there are no other professions like doctor, engineer, policeman, architect and others. so, I salute them. I'm proud to say that they are Heroes, the Heroes of students.

I know how hard their works are because my mother is a teacher. I feel what they feel. I understand them if they are sometimes strict to us and also I thank them for educating me to the fullest.

Modern Day Hero

"My Hero Forever!"

"You're my Hero!" Hero? What is the real meaning of the word Hero? Are they only the ones who saves us from danger? Are they like Superman, Batman, The Incredible, etc.?   For me  it's not, because they are only heroes in the movies not in the real life. Their powers are not real, they are just camera tricks and our imagination.

But I do understand if they are the ones whom you consider as your hero because we are different from one another, we have our own mind to decide for our own. We have the right to choose what we think is good for us.

If you will going to ask me who are my heroes or whom I consider as my hero. I am proud to tell that my heroes are my parents. You want to know why my parent? I'll tell you all the reasons.

I consider my parents as my hero because they are the reason why I'm here today, living in this wonderful world. God gave me life but it would not be completed if my parents are not there. My parents are always there to comfort me when I'm sad, when I"m not in the mood and they always feel what I feel especially when I have my problems. They always guide me in everything I do, they advice me if what will I do is right or wrong. They support me in my studies by giving the things I need in school. and most of all they are always there right beside me every time.

I love them and I want to thank them for their immeasurable love to me.
I hope it's enough and I hope You understand why I consider them my hero.

Buwan ng Wika

"Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino."

This month of August we are celebrating the what we call "Buwan ng Wika". Based from the history of this occasion at first we celebrates It from March 27 until April 2 but President Ramon Magsaysay proclaimed that the celebration will be change to May 13-19. But again became impossible for students and teachers to join the celebration that is why for the last time President Fidel V. Ramos declared that it will be on the month of August, so, every year we celebrate it. The celebration reminds us all the events of our country  , the hardship that we encountered from the conqueror. We celebrate it not only because it is our tradition/culture but because there are important reason  behind it.

We Filipinos celebrate the "Buwan ng Wika" to promote our own language, so that our fellow Filipinos will not forget it and so that they will use it wherever they are. We need to use our own language because it shows the real us, that we are True Filipinos. we must use it to show everyone that are proud of our own Nationality and country.

We must not be shy. Fight for it because it shows that we unite. Let us start now! It is time! Use our own language and be proud of it. It is our treasure that will be ours forever and no one can get it from us.

Nutrition Month Celebration

                                                   Are you Weak? Eat Healthy..

Foods? This are the things that we take in/eat that gives us all the nutrients we need so that we have enough energy to do all the task that are given to us, especially to children or student like me.

We must always put in mind that not all foods are healthy. There are some those instead of giving us strength they make us weak and sick. What I am referring to are the “junk foods” junk foods are very popular to us because their taste is very good to the point that it is addictive. There are those that we can not resist once we’ve taste them.

Now is the time to make a change and we should stop eating junk foods! We should not let our body be destroyed by bad preservatives. It’s not yet too late.

This month of July is the world wide nutrition month celebration. Let us help one another to promote a healthy lifestyle. The proper food that we must eat are vegetable. Vegetables are very important in our daily meal. You now why? Because almost all of the vitamins and minerals needed by our body are found in them like; Vitamin C, Vitamin B1 (Thiamin), Niacin, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid (Folacin), Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin), Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid and others. Some examples of vegetables are eggplant, cabbage, beans, string beans, letus, potato, carrots and others.

Lets us stop thinking that vegetables don’t taste good, because we are wrong it is time to correct it all of vegetables are delicious it’s us who really need to appreciate it. Let’s think now and eat veggies before it too late.

First grading Period

FIRST GRADING: APPETIZER

Knowledge is the key for us to achieve our goals in life. So, we students must do our best to study hard and not to waste the support of our parents because they are doing all just to give us what we need. In Studying there are different subjects that we encounter; Math, English, Filipino, Values, MAPEH, AP. But let’s not forget one of the best subject, the computer subject or the ICT (Information Communication Technology).
At first I thought this subject would be boring because the lessons will be repeated. But as time goes by I said to myself that I was wrong. The lessons or topics are very interesting because they were well discussed by our teacher. Some topics are; The History of Internet, Internet Architects, Internet Tolls and Services and the best topic the Blog. We made our own Gmail and Blog accounts and this first grading we already have 4 posts in our Blog. I love this subject because it added my knowledge about that internet.
There are some problems that I encounter this Grading like the heavy rain, when it is raining hard it’s difficult to go to computer laboratory because it is far from our homeroom and we will be all wet if we try to. And another is the speed of the internet connection. Most of the time it is very slow that’s why I am hard up and it takes me too long in posting.
I don’t take the problems seriously because if I can’t post in the computer laboratory I’m posting with the use of the unit in our house. This is my way so that I can do all my works.
Moving on, I will do my best to study hard not only for my ICT subject but also for the other subjects that I have. After this school year I believed that I will know all the things that I need to know before graduating.

"3rd SONA of P-NOY"

SPEECH FOR PROGRESS
Being a leader is not easy. You need to be that intelligent to think and plan what to do for the betterment of our nation. In our democratic country, Philippines, president is the highest position of being a leader. He/she must sacrifice all for the sake of his/her men.

Last July 23,2012, our President Benigno Simeon C. Aqiono III delivered his third SONA. What is SONA? SONA means State Of The Nation Address. The content of P-NOY’s SONA is about his accomplishment during his first two years in service in our country and also his plans in his remaining term. Many of us believed and agreed to what Our President have said and they were happy clapping (applauding) for him. But there are those not happy because they were not contented. It’s like there is something missing of what he have said. During the SONA there were those group of people who had join rallies. Rally that shows support and rally that shows dislike.

I believed that for that the answer behind our problems, for us to become successful, for our country to become progressive the key is UNITY. We need to support our leader. Let us help him disseminate and do his plans that he made for us because he is really a good leader he knows what is best for his men.

Letter To The President

June 27, 2012

Dear Mr. President,

Good day to you sir. Before anything else I would like you to know that I wrote this letter for you because I want to tell you something important those talks about you being a president. We all know Sir that being a president of a country is very hard because you need to lead, protect and guide all the people in our nation. The position President has many responsibilities; he takes over the entire work. He needs to sacrifice all he has just for the sake of all the people.
Sir, you were elected as the president of the Republic of the Philippines because we believe that you can make a change in our country. What we want are you to be the man that your father wanted you to be. Be an inspiration to us, your men. Awaken the sleeping guts inside of you and strive hard to make our country great. It is not enough that you had the right slogans that carried you during your campaign. Mr. President we want you to walk your talk, do everything that promise to do during your State of the Nation Address, because when it comes to getting things done, saying or shouting the thought of your slogan is not worth a dime, it will not make any difference.
Now is the time to get out from there and start turning things over with sweat, force and most of all determination. Sir, I’m not expecting you to make our country “perfect” no one can do that. But I do expect you to be able to inspire and influence the minds to collectively make change. Inspire Filipino people. Inspire us.
That is all Sir. Thank you for your time in reading it and I hope you liked it. May God bless you in all the things you’ll do to make this country brighter.

Respectfully Yours,
John Keith Q. Avila
